Due to expansion and increasing demand for our software, we are currently looking for a Junior C# .NET ERP Developer who will join our team in the Maltese head office, and be part of the PaperLess success story.
PaperLess is one of the top players in the United Kingdom and Ireland, for both accountants and accounting departments who want to save time and reduce the costs of managing business documents throughout the organization.
What you’ll be doing:
The person we are hiring will be responsible for general integrations between PaperLess and ERP/Accounting systems, as well for providing support services to our clients and business partners. Development will be done in C# .NET, using an inhouse framework, which is built using tools like SQL, DLLs and Web APIs.
Applicants must be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge in other languages would be considered as an advantage.
Be able to work as part of a team, and also independently.
Have initiative and be creative.
Have a general understanding of ERPs and accounting systems, or be familiar with the terminology.
Experience with C# .NET, including Web Services
Proficiency in MS SQL Server

Junior Data Analyst
The role of Junior Data Analyst is cross functional, supporting the Finance team as well as the Production Modelling team by reporting data and summary of results in a timely and accurate manner.
Your tasks will include:
Working closely with Finance Team, as may be required, reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
Generating ad hoc documentation.
Providing data reconciliation analysis in a timely and accurate manner.
Working closely with Production Modelling Team, providing data required along with established priorities.
Driving process improvement and development that impact the function.
Skills and requirements:
Advance Knowledge of MSSQL.
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
Knowledge of Excel.
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
Being able to work as a part of team and autonomously.

R.A.I.S.E (Raising Awareness and Interest in STEAM Employment) Project
Project Number: 2017-1-MT01-KA202-026978 The project is Co-funded by Erasmus+ programme of the European Union
Project Duration: 33 months: 20/11/2017 till 19/08/2020
This project funded through Erasmus+, include the participation of six organisations from five different European countries that identified the need to bridge the gap of skills shortage all across the EU especially with regards to STEAM careers. The project commenced in January 2018 and will be concluded in 2020. The project’s overall aims are:
To make Vocational Education and Training (VET) carriers a priority within the STEAM field in order to support inclusive education by making VET careers information more accessible to put an emphasis on vocation applied learning;
To help tackle the issue of Early School Leavers by offering VET as an Alternative education and carrier pathway.
Through this project a number of MCAST lectures have received training focusing on the methodology of interaction students, how to present VET careers, how to disseminate results and activities and how to carry out science events. Furthermore, MCAST will primarily be responsible for the development, piloting, testing and launching of the app. The app will be using the visual arts to encourage users to take up a career in the VET field. This will help raise awareness and interest in STEAM Employment among people with low levels of literacy, people not in education, employment and training (NEETs) and other socially disadvantaged people.
